Is Internet Marketing for all organizations? No

Will demographics help in developing a sound Internet Strategy? No

Traditional Marketing and Internet Marketing are very different (read Internet Marketing vs. Traditional Marketing). Thus different tools and strategies are employed for accurately analyzing markets on the Internet.

Our iMarketing solution is a complete Internet marketing solution: comprehensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). What is comprehensive? We start with complete and thorough market research, followed by careful analysis which leads to sound strategic planning that is ultimately implemented. All steps are documented and appropriate reports are created including comprehensive analytics (keyword phrase usage and trends, specific ranking reports, traffic reports, etc.).

We can help you become the dominate Internet player in your industry and associated niche markets.

There are a lot of companies these days offering SEO services, why should you choose DSD Web Works?

There are a lot offering but how many are delivering?

We encourage you to invest time into proper evaluation of any company offering SEO service... results do not lie. Look at the specifics of the individual companies and markets they have addressed.

  • What rankings have they obtained?
  • How competitive are the niche markets?
  • Are the rankings for the most realistic keyword phrases?
  • If they have obtained high rankings, what duration of time have their clients enjoyed those rankings (i.e. stable high rankings for years is more significant then a brief stint at the top)?

Again, real results do not lie.

D. Scott Demmin, our resident SEO expert has an interesting background that helped lay the basis for understanding the somewhat complex algorithms the search engines deploy for evaluating and indexing web pages. As an undergraduate during the dawn of the digital age (late in the 1970s), he was an economics/finance major with a thirst for mathematics. Like all major universities, computer science courses evolved out of mathematic departments and he immersed himself.

Following his studies, he became a computer programmer in the Bay Area of San Francisco (pre-Silicone Valley). He later attended graduate school and as a PhD student in Molecular Biology at the University of California (Riverside), he sequenced genetic material (DNA) and compared genes within a multi-gene family across species. Specific algorithms were written to compare these sequences and used to literally quantify genetic diversity and define phylogenic relationships.

His experience in scientific research and in coding comparative algorithms easily translated into a through study of the characteristics search engine algorithms use in defining relevancy. We continue today employing our own proprietary, scientifically designed experiments and, to date, we have defined 86 contributing factors that search engines use when presenting the ranking order of indexed pages resulting from a given search.
